I have to admit to being a total hypoocrite on this issue.

On the one hand, I very much believe that women should have the right to choose whether or not they have an aborion.

On the other hand, I want the women who abort their babies because they are female locked up for murder ...

Help, anyone..?

a long time ago what I had heard and seen was this, we take our last breath and die (I've been there in the room when people have died) and when we take our first breath we are alive (and I've been in the delivery room and seen that too). There is no in between.

It is my opinion that.....To be alive is to have a soul. It goes to the difference between a human and an animal. When we take our first breath, we breath in that soul, when we take our last breath, our soul departs.

It is the Seeing that last breath and Feeling that soul depart that gives me the knowing that the first breath takes in the soul.

The issue has changed with science. A baby has a heartbeat, therefore it is considered alive. Until the baby in uteri Has a heartbeat, then it is not alive, it is a combo of cells Developing into a baby. Now, politicians, church people and others for whatever reason want to say that the actual conception is the baby.

They, mostly men, want to say a miscarriage or a stillbirth is the woman's fault 100% even though there is No Science to prove it. And the cells do not have a soul which is what Makes us human. Nor does a stillborn or miscarriage criteria that a murder was committed by the woman. There is no soul in any of those concepts.

The one question that I had on an earlier article, if a girl is made pregnant by her father is it not cruel and unusal punishment to not allow her to have an abortion? Then my question is if she does have an abortion, you would condone her being charged with murder?

Well as long as the fetus isn't viable I don't give a flying fig why a woman gets an abortion. After viability, is a different story.

If you don't believe in the soul you sure save youself a lot of b.s. However, if humans have them, so do dogs. And worms.

Well, since they aren't even close to the stage of achieving consciousness, there's no murder involved but look at it from another angle. The tragedy comes in the lives of all those females already born being undervalued.

Now that ultrasound and other testing is available to detect the gender of the fetus, the areas where this practice is common are already showing an increase in male-to-female ratio. As the generations this affects hit adulthood, the 'value' of the female should increase in the mindset of those generations, possibly finally erasing some of those culture biases against those that are female.

      We'll see...

Seems like this makes us technological, rather than natural beings ...

Although, obviously, previous generations used some kind of selection process for their preferred progeny.

Maybe we've always been more technological than natural beings.

Another consultant, Claudine Domoney, who works with 132 Healthwise clinic in Harley Street, central London, agreed to arrange for a woman to abort a boy after being told that she and her husband already had a son from his first marriage. The practice is known as “family balancing”.

        ...

In 2010 there were 189,574 terminations in England and Wales, an eight per cent increase in the past decade. There is some evidence that more female than male foetuses are aborted.
